Avoiding complaints, FTC, AG, FDCPA, CFPB.

I have just read an article in the this Buffalo News and while I find it appalling and reprehensible I often wonder what the collection agencies are doing of what their employees are doing to warrant being shut down, fined and in some cases imprisonment. http://www.buffalonews.com/city-region/federal-court/ftc-targets-amherst-debt-collector-for-threatening-consumers-20140309 http://www.buffalonews.com/opinion/buffalo-news-editorials/ftc-shuts-down-a-dozen-local-collections-agencies-to-protect-consumers-from-abuses-20140315 I have provided 2 links that were published in the same week. Can it be stopped. Are the agency owners doing enough to police their own companies. Are their employees getting the proper training. What about compliance? If what these articles state are true then perhaps the agencies should get a 3rd party independent party to audit their files. These periodic audits can help weed out the employees that plainly do not need to be there. I know that the owners have more to do with their money that make a donation to the AG coffers, or any other governmental agency. We have all see hefty fines that are imposed. Why? Agency owners need to have their own accounts audited and have the complaints STOPPED before they get escalated. Here are 2 links that can and will help you. All you have to do is ask for the help. http://thecomplianceauditors.weebly.com/ http://stopthecomplaints.weebly.com/less
